Lets Drink to That
Lets Drink To That-
Nectarines from our generous neighbors tree make a sweet slushie treat. Peaches and nectarines are very similar. The nectarine has no “peach fuzz” and because of its thin skin may bruise a bit easier. They are both delicious. This weeks theme is Lets Drink to That. There were a lot of creative and certainly tasty drinks shared last week. It was tough to decide which to include in this weeks Monday Inspirations. I invite you to review last weeks Thursday Favorite Things and find more beverages and more, of , well everything wonderful! To make this slushie- In a blender or food processor, add peeled, seeded and quartered nectarines, equal parts ice and a bit of sweetener and pulse a few times until it is the kind of slushie you love. Drink it with a straw or eat it with a spoon. There is no substitution for fresh from the tree fruit.
Not familiar with Monday inspirations? No problem here’s the scoop. Monday inspirations has taken the place of Make It Monday. Still inspiring us in a zillion ways but with one very fun twist. I will select a theme, but you will not know the theme I have selected, aha a little mystery! Then I will share some of your wonderful posts. I will still be featuring a few other selected posts at the Thursday Favorite Things link party too.All of the photos belong to their respective blogs unless otherwise indicated.

Yummm! I am loving the Guava Lime Cocktail. Pinned.
These look amazing! Somehow I missed them all when I went through the party.
I was looking for nectarines or apricots at the store over the weekend and came home with strawberries, lol. You’re lucky to have a neighbor with a tree!
It’s almost nectarine season here Katherine! This sounds delicious, so thankyou! Mimi xxx
I was thirsting for something new. I have options!! Thanks.
Spiked ginger sounds good.
We make fruit smoothies all the time. Better than ice cream.
