  4. I dropped my phone into the toilet at work several years ago. It was ruined and I had to get a new one:( Hope you like your new phone. Thanks again for the party, which I am usually late to:(

  5. Awww, I’m sorry. You need a waterproof cell phone case. My cell phone is getting old and needs to be replaced. I am not looking forward to that…they are expensive.

  7. Lol, my daughter (also Katherine :)) did the same thing a few months ago…thankfully a day in rice saved the phone. I’m looking to get a new phone and the prices are ridiculous!

Thanks for hosting…haven’t blogged in a few months and happy to be back!

  8. Oh Katherine, I recently dropped my phone in the toilet as well…because it was in my back pocket (which I rarely do), but I had just used the toilet and saw my phone in there as I was about to flush. Ugh! Gross! Fortunately I had invested in the $80 life proof case which is definitely toilet proof because my phone was fine. But absolutely lesson learned for me, too…no phone in the back pocket!

  9. Sorry to hear about your phone, that’s horrible, but I’m glad you were able to get another. They do cost a lot. Mine is waterproof, so I’m thankful for that!! I hope you’re having a fantastic week so far xx

  10. Hi Katherine! I’m so excited to be linking up and sharing with you, again! As you know, it has been a while for me. But, I’m really enjoying getting back in the swing of things! Your Blog is as beautiful as always. Thanks for hosting, my Bloggy Friend! I know it’s a big job and truly appreciate being able to share with you and your readers! I hope your week has turned around for the better. Those phones are too expensive! I know it’s wrong…but, I do keep my iPhone in my bra. 🙂

  11. Katherine, so sorry to hear about your phone. When Mr. Deanie got his new phone from our local Verizon, they told them if he got his phone wet that he should bring it in. They have some special machine that you can put your phone in and dry it out. I hope we never have to try it! Hope the rest of your week is better!

  12. I did see you post something about your phone and got to tell you I learned this very expensive lesson a year ago while I was in Disney on vacation. I dropped it in a clean toilet, as well getting bathing suits that were drying on the clothes line in our bathroom. Rice didn’t work for me either and I ended up having to pay a cab to and from Disney resorts to the mall and the Apple Store. I wish I knew why cell phones were so expensive and I also now will not go anywhere near the bathroom with my cell phone. Just glad you got a new working phone though, but sorry it was such a costly lesson for you, as well. Hugs and wishing you a wonderful evening ahead, as well now!! xoxo <3

Love each other as God loves you xo
