New Uses Monday Inspirations
Hello friends, its been awhile since I shared some new uses for old things. So this weeks theme is new uses for old things. Thank you to all who share every week at the TFT party. You are all so creative and the variety of blog topics shared is always so fantastic. It was truly serendipitous that I found some of your new uses for old things posts. Before we get started I ask that you join me in silent prayer as we think of all those in the hurricane’s path. The storms may have slowed but the people and places touched are many. Flooding is still at disaster levels and according to my latest update as many as 30,000 people will be displaced. To all my bloggy friends I pray you are safe and dry and would love it if you have a way to let us know you are okay, that you will do so in the comments below.
Are you new to Monday Inspirations? No problem here’s the scoop. Monday inspirations has taken the place of Make It Monday. Still inspiring us in a zillion ways but with one very fun twist. I will select a theme, but when you share your posts you won’t know what theme I have selected. Aha a little mystery! Then I will share some of your wonderful posts. I will still be featuring a few other selected posts at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop too. Just a reminder that all of the photos belong to their respective blogs unless otherwise indicated. Please pin from the source to assure bloggers are getting the credit they deserve. Each individual blog image is clickable. If you missed a Monday Inspiration or Make It Monday you can find them all HERE.
Lets start with, Dazzle While Frazzled, She created a photo gallery wall using a staircase banister, ba bam, it’s a beauty.
Mia Bella Passions created a beautiful and unique vase with clay and an old light fixture!
Brilliant and and such an illuminating idea don’t you think, giggle.
Pillar Box Blue up-cycled her jeans and made cute pom pom pillows. I love them!
Do you remember my old blue jeans post this would be great added to it.
Refresh Living took an old egg crate and made a pendant light! Brilliant for industrial chic or farmhouse style too.
Comfort Spring made a lovely glass bottom tray from an old picture frame,
I love the paper pattern she used.

No matter how you choose to spend the day, I hope it is a positive one and that it is filled with only good things.
I especially love the light fixture,it looks like it was made from an old crate.
Hi Phyllis, I know how creative. I believe it was. Hugs
Love your articles, great inspirations. Thank you.
Such creative women! I love the stair bannister photo collage. And the egg crate hanging light. Actually, I love all the up-cycled items!
Thanks for the inspiring post, Katherine! And I am remembering all those affected by the terrible flooding in Texas. It must be so scary.
Thanks for featuring my tray Katherine. Great features today – I love the photo gallery on the bannister.
Very cute ideas, Katherine. I like this “post theme,” as many people hate to feel like they are wasting things if they let them go. I’m always interested to see how people repurpose and reuse!
Love your new uses here you shared today. Happy Monday and wishing you a lovely week ahead!! xoxo <3
