How to Make a Miracle by Writing a Blog Post
I like to think I have God on speed dial, I just say hello and there He is. Ready to listen to my ramblings, to grant forgiveness, and to provide guidance. I have made no secret of the fact that I am a child of God and a deeply spiritual person. I pray every day without fail and twice or more a day if I need a little help coping ( don’t we all) with one of the day’s challenges. Make a Miracle, that is quite the statement. So, I will just take in a slow breath in, release it and ask, ” have you ever had God speak to you, through you, straight from His heart to yours? “Me too!
I’m sure a lot of you speak with Him and like me even more often when you are worried, scared, confused or under stress. I’ve written before about the power of prayer, about living a life of Faith. So, is it unreasonable that I should make this bold statement? I asked God and He answered.
He told me what to do. Not by whispering in my ear but by softly speaking from his heart to mine. How do I know it was God who spoke? Psalms 46:10, “Be still in prayer and know that I am God”, all I can tell you is, I am a woman of faith and I live my life being the best person I can be. We are all servants of God and often we miss the signs telling us when, where and how to improve. I
What does all of this have to do with today’s post? Would it be silly if I told you God told me how to make a miracle, by writing a blog post?
Have you ever asked Him for a sign? I know our faith doesn’t require a sign to let us know He is there or that He is listening. But, still we ask Him, please send me a sign. Something telling us when to take a leap of Faith knowing fully it is what God intended?
I was on my way up the stairs the other day and I glanced over and I saw this! I spoke out loud saying, “this is beautiful, oh my goodness this is my sign.” hubby glanced over while reading most likely thinking, ” oh my goodness what is she up to now. ”
I had been gathering things for decorating. I had a tablecloth draped over the railing, ready to be taken upstairs and ignored ironed (ironing is my least favorite chore) and a crystal cross and some white winter floral picks on a wood tray. The sunlight was shining through the cross creating a magnificent prism of light. I grabbed my camera and started photographing it from every angle. I wish I could have captured the true radiance of this image. I tried to recreate it as best I could without moving anything.
I knew, I knew, this was my sign! I listened to God and I’m writing this blog post knowing He will lead us to Gather Together and Make a Miracle.
A Miracle!
I ask you to please give $3.00 or more knowing you are guaranteed to receive Joy. Will you do it?

I had a period of my life long before I was married to my amazing hubby, where we had very little. I remember opening the fridge one Sunday morning and seeing one egg and a stick of margarine, one apple, and one orange. I made breakfast with it and we were full. God is good.

It is a bitlate to donate, I think I would have given. Like you in the past and some posters above I have litle, but what I do have we try and give what we can. I cant walk by a bell ringer, give someone what we have if hey have little, cook an extra bit to give away , or right now shovel elderly neighbors out. I think God speaks too. Sometimes he whispers, sometimes he shouts.
Hi Ellen, thank you. You are so sweet, you can still donate, it’s open for the whole year. God bless and sending hugs your way!
This is a wonderful idea. I hope that you will be blessed this Christmas and in the year ahead. Looking forward to meeting you here in the new year. Merry Christmas!
Hello Deborah, biggest hugs coming your way!
I am happy to give $3.00 despite not having much money on a fixed income. But, there is a scripture–I don’t know where in the Bible–that I believe says, “it is in giving that we receive.” I always think of that when I hesitate to contribute to a cause that needs and asks for my help. And despite not having much money to throw around I have everything I need, so why wouldn’t I share some of what I’ve been blessed with? I trust that there is truth in the saying that what we put out comes back to us. So I know I will be blessed in some way at some time if I willingly give of what little I may have. I firmly believe in miracles,so, because of who I know you to be, Katherine, I trust that the money you receive will be used to create a miracle of some sort. I will be so happy to hear what that miracle turns out to be, whenever it happens!
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season, filled with Love and Joy and Faith. Blessings to you and your Family!
Hugs,
Naomi S.

He knows our needs. He shows me in so many ways that He has my back (or right hand) I am stunned by the things He does, the big or little miracles He does in my life I also thank God I am His child. He told me “I love you, I will always take care of you” He certainly proves it.
God is good. Thank you for sharing His love. Hugs!
You are a wonderfully generous and authentic person, Katherine. It’s so difficult some days to sit, be quiet and remember what I’m so thankful for. You remind me to do this more often.
Jean thankyou, that means a lot, hugs coming your way!

Thank you my darling friend, for your friendship, your trust and your generosity. xo
How wonderful!!!!! I know struggling is difficult. My brother says I have a black cloud over my head. I am 41 and have been disabled now for 3 years. I feel I was one of Gods workers by being a nurse and helping others with compassion. I would donate money to every fund to help others (that I could). It’s funny how when the tables were turned I could get very little help with spiraled me into depression. I have had to quilt quilting because god help me but I can’t afford a quilter, I am not a legal charity case to get help. I am just above poverty level so no help there. Life works in mysterious ways and I know God has my back and it helps me hang on!!!!! I pray to make it day to day and I KNOW God holds my hand to get me through the horrific pain I endure daily!!!!! I AM A CHILD OF GOD, I AM A CHRISTIAN WOMAN AND GLAD AND PROUD TO TELL EVERYONE!!!!!!
Biggest hugs of compassion and friendship coming your way, your sister through Christ.
