I’m not really sure how to start this post. So I will just take in a slow breath in, release it and ask, have you ever had God speak to you, through you, straight from his heart to yours? I like to think I have God on speed dial, I just say hello and there He is. Ready to listen to my ramblings to grant forgiveness and to provide guidance. I have made no secret of the fact that I am a child of God and a deeply spiritual person. I pray every day without fail and twice or more a day if I need a little help coping with one of the day’s challenges.
I’m sure a lot of you speak with Him too and like me even more often when you are worried, scared, confused or under dourest. I’ve written before about the power of prayer, about living a life of Faith. So, is it unreasonable that I should make this bold statement? I asked God and he answered.
He told me what to do. Not by whispering in my ear but by softly speaking from his heart to mine. How do I know it was God who spoke? Psalms 46:10, “Be still in prayer and know that I am God”, all I can tell you is that I am a woman of faith and I live my life being the best person I can be. We are all servants of God and often we miss the signs telling us when, where and how to improve. What does all of this have to do with today’s post? Would it be silly if I told you God told me how to make a miracle, by writing a blog post? Have you ever asked Him for a sign? Asking Him, please tell me when to take a leap of Faith fully knowing it is what He intended?
I was on my way up the stairs the other day and I glanced over and I saw this! I spoke out loud saying, “this is beautiful, oh my goodness this is my sign.” hubby glanced over most likely thinking oh my goodness what is she up to now. I had been gathering things for decorating. I had a tablecloth draped over the railing, ready to be taken upstairs and
ignored ironed (my least favorite chore) and a crystal cross and some white winter picks on a wood tray. The sunlight was shining through the cross creating a magnificent prism of light. I grabbed my camera and started photographing it from every angle. I wish I could have captured the radiance of this image. I tried to recreate it as best I could without moving anything. But I knew, I knew, this was my sign, so I listened to God and He will work through us to make a miracle.
I ask you to please give $3.00 not knowing what it will be used for. But, guaranteeing you will receive Joy. Will you do it? What do you usually buy with $3.00?
If you are not able to donate, I send you extra hugs, love and prayers. May God bless you in all you do. May you find comfort knowing God is good and He holds your hand throughout your life giving you love and strength always. I had a period of my life before I was married to my amazing hubby, where we had very little. I remember opening the fridge one Sunday morning and seeing one egg and a stick of margarine, one apple and one orange. I created breakfast with it and we were full.
Each $3.00 will be added together over the next 30 days and you will not know what the money will be used for. But it will be used for one, two or all of these things listed. The one thing you know for certain is that you WILL RECEIVE JOY.
