Labor Day
Happy Labor Day wishes to everyone, I hope it’s not the last day of summer for you, but I do hope it’s cooler. Celebrate and relax you labored long enough, now it’s time to play. Hubby is actually taking the day off on Monday! I’m so excited. I love spending time with him. I guarantee he’ll be fishing this weekend too. Labor Day weekend here in the US, is the “unofficial” end of summer for many of us. The last BBQ, the last tube ride down a lazy river and the last splash in the pool. But…. it doesn’t have to be, does it? I mean really, who decided it was the “unofficial” end? Yes…I know…. I hate hot weather. But, not everyone does and I can make happy memories sitting in the shade of a tree. So yes, play outside, catch the breeze in your sale ( spelled wrong on purpose, please see below). Do some Labor day shopping and then go out and play some more! Make happy memories my friends!
Don’t put the grill away,
Don’t pack up the patio furniture,
Don’t put an end to summer,
leave it all for now, just where it is and enjoy it as much as you can. I propose that you celebrate summer fun, Not the heat, unless you love it of course, this Labor Day weekend and consider doing it all again next weekend too.
I hope you’ll pop by the Katherines Corner Shop and take advantage of my Labor Day Sale. Almost everything in the shop is marked down. Happy Labor Day wishes everyone, have fun, make memories and wear sunscreen! xo
In Alabama, it stays “summer” all the way into October! That’s okay, as long as it cools down. Hoping to get some kayaking down one of our rivers tomorrow. Happy Labor Day, Katherine!
I’ve been looking at the malas, Katherine. They are so lovely. Someday when I am a little richer I will order one!
Happy Labor Day weekend!
Once the calendar flips to September, it’s definitely time to move some wood from the back of the property to the front here in “da” Upper Peninsula! We’ve had some nights in the 40’s thus, flannel sheets are back on the beds:) This is what I consider “camping” weather and we do most of it in Sept/Oct. Being out in nature when Autumn colors are in full bloom is definitely a witness to the artistic talent of our Savior!
I am so with you on this and enjoying it for as long as I still can, too now. Have a wonderful Holiday Weekend and husg xoxo <3
