DIY Holly Berry Topiary

Hello friends, try saying Holly Berry Topiary three times fast ( wink) I think it’s time for some Christmas craftiness. There are two versions of the DIY Holly Berry Topiary. One takes about 15 minutes the other takes about 30 minutes. Not a lot of time invested but with a lovely result.

What You Need for the 30 Minute DIY Holly Berry Topiary
1-2 Premade 6-inch topiary balls. Made by you previously or purchased from your local craft store.
1-2 Candlesticks with a top wide enough in diameter to hold each topiary ball
1-2 Bags of red beads
Floral wire
Wire Snips

Let’s Make It!
Begin by cutting the wire about 4 inches long. Note-You may need to determine the length of the wire based on the depth of the topiary ball greenery.
Thread one bead on the wire, bend both ends to meet and twist.
*If your topiary has a Styrofoam center, keep the wire straight.
*If your topiary ball doesn’t have a Styrofoam center, you will need to create a hook shape.

Push the straight wire into the foam center of the ball.
If you don’t have a foam center, reach inside and wrap the hook end of the wire around the base of a leaf and squeeze gently to attach.
Cut another wire about 4 inches long.

Thread three beads on the wire and repeat the instructions above.
Do this for both topiary balls.
It is completely up to you how many single berries and multiple berries you use. How many you use may also be determined by how many beads you have. Scatter the beaded holly berries throughout the topiary ball.

Place the topiary balls on top of the candlesticks and use it in your holiday décor or as part of your centerpiece. You can also put your holly berry topiary balls in a pretty bowl or tie a ribbon around them and hang them up.
Now say Taadaa!

What You Need For the 15 Minute DIY Holly Berry Topiary
1-2 Premade 6-inch topiary balls. Made by you previously or purchased from your local craft store.
1-2 Candles stick with a top wide enough in diameter to hold each topiary ball
1-2 Bags of berries, I had these in my craft stash. I think they cost a dollar.

Separate the berries into three. Repeat all the steps above.
