I am at 108 and 109 this week. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  2. Thank you for hosting the party. The last few days got away from me and I got here too late to link any posts. But I did enjoy looking at some of the posts that were here. I agree with you, apples are great this time of year!

  3. Oh all these lovely apple recipes! I have a funny story about apples…when I was 8 years old, my father lost his job and we had no money for food. He went to some apple orchard nearby and “got a great deal” on bushels of apples. We peeled and cored and froze hundreds upon hundreds of apples and for nearly the entire next year that is all we had to eat in our house…apple pie, baked apples, apple dumplings, applesauce. Anything you can make with apples, that’s what was for dinner. The only other food we got was the free lunch at school. After that, the sight, smell, or mere appearance or mention of apples would turn my stomach. It wasn’t until about 8 years ago (30 years after the year of eating apples) that I began enjoying apple things again. And now I can’t get enough! Yummy delicious sweet Fall recipes!
