Easy DIY Greeting Card Using Word
Hello friends, if you’re starting to notice a theme lately, I’ve been “all about the peonies”, wink. I’ll be adding more to the blog later today. If you’re stuck at home and need to send a greeting card I think you might like this Easy DIY Greeting Card Using Word.
What You Need
- printer
- card stock
- 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 envelope
- Front of card image
Before You Start
Make sure you have enough colored ink to print your card, Insert cardstock in printer.
Letās Make It!
Open a new blank document
Home– select Layout- Orientation-landscape, Column – two columns (The column on the right will be the front of the greeting card)
Design– Page Color-Select a background color (or no color if you are using colored card stock, or prefer a white background), Page border- this is optional, select the one you prefer
Column One– Add text to the bottom of column one (optional) this is the back of the card I wrote created by grandma.
Column two–
Home-Insert your greeting card image in column two- make your selection from your saved pictures (or from the download provided at the bottom of the post)
Scroll down and add Page Two– Column two, this is the inside of the card
Add text, images etc. you would like on the inside of the card to column two
Print page one only–
Return- the printed card front to the printer, image side down (make sure this is the correct direction for your printer)
Print- page two only
Fold in half and cut out to 4 x 6 inches
This is your ta daa moment!
This greeting card will fit in an envelope sized at 4.75 x 6.5. If you don’t have any you can get them below š
