Hello friends, welcome to the Autumn Home Decor Vignette Challenge. Because of the Pandemic my seasonal home decorating is at a bare minimum for the first time in over 20 years. With just hubby and I here, we agreed some holiday decor, most likely on the buffet will have to do. Gosh, we miss hugging our loved ones. I pray a cure ( or vaccine) is found soon.

I sent out a public invitation to the lovely readers of Katherines Corner and a challenge was made! I encourage you to visit the talented bloggers listed below, they all happily accepted the challenge to create an Autumn Home Vignette with at least 1 pumpkin. Thank you so much, ladies!

They don’t know it, but I’m putting all of them in a random drawing to win this cute tea towel.

I created my autumn vignette on our buffet. I used my favorite autumn sprite for color inspiration. On a side note, my daughter thinks he’s creepy. But I can’t celebrate my favorite season without him. ( smile)

I used a copper leaf tray as a backdrop. It actually sits flat on a table ( it has little round feet on the bottom).
Look how comfortable he is. You’d never know I used two candlesticks ( one upside down) one on top of the other, to give him some height.
A fresh green pear, some of my farm fresh baby boos ( white pumpkins) a few cotton boils and some faux florals fill the bowl with autumn.
I need to post a DIY for this cute burlap rose.
Green acorns fill the hurricane glass.

  3. It does feel strange to try to continue on with decorating this year. In the midst of a pandemic and politics we became empty nesters and have been feeling a bit off my game. It’s nice to know I am not the only one. Perhaps I should take your lead and do less. Your buffet vignette is beautiful. Thanks for the invitation to join you in this challenge!
