Easter Cake

Hello friends, Easter is on Sunday and that means I’ll be baking an Easter cake. My carrot cake is a favorite with just about all of our family. Do you have a “go to dessert” for certain holidays? I’m sharing some wonderful cake decorating inspiration, and Easter cake recipes with you today. Let’s start with my two Carrot Cake recipes (smile). One is a full sugar version the other is almost sugar free 🙂 .

I can’t wait to give some of these a try, they are all so fabulous! The Easter Basket cake from Good Housekeeping is so beautiful, I think I want to try that one first. Oh wait… maybe the yellow Easter bonnet cake created by Liz Bushong . The Robins Egg cake created by Preppy Kitchen would be fun too. Oh my goodness I can’t decide, maybe the strawberry one created by 31 Daily. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits. I know some of you may be thinking she can’t eat sugar, ah yes you are right and what a great memory you have. I can bake a cake for our family and have them enjoy it (smile). I also love the little Easter chick decoration on a simple cupcake shared by The Pioneer Woman, it is one of 35 she has on her website right now!
