With a Little Help from my Friends
Hello friends, I’m just a girl standing in front of a keyboard asking you to….Oh wait…okay well, things behind the scenes here at Katherines Corner have been challenging. I won’t bore you with all of the details but I really thought I was not going to be able to keep blogging. Sometimes, trolls, SEO, lack of participation and cost can just be overwhelming. I have to admit, I went over to the dark side, yes, I seriously considered letting go of Katherines Corner.
How could I even consider such a thing?
Katherines Corner is basically my friendship lifeline. If you are a long time reader or a new friend, you know Katherines Corner is one of my happy places.
I asked some lovely bloggy friends for their input and they came through for me when I really needed it. I received love, encouragement, inspiration and a consistent , “don’t stop blogging” from everyone. I also received some wonderful advice for Katherines Corner moving forward.
With a little help from my friends I am happy to share that Katherines Corner and everyone’s favorite TFT blog hop, will still be here for you when you visit. I realize I don’t have to tell you all of this. If I just kept it to myself you would never know I was having a “blogging crisis” (smile). You may have clicked over and found I was gone, poof. I’m happy you are here (heart)

I am so glad that you decided to continue on your blogging journey! As you know, I’ve lately been in the midst of a blogging crisis also. And, also, with the help of “friends” and their encouraging words, I have decided to hang in there also. Katherine, I know the struggles of blogging. There have been so many changes with SEO and other things that it’s overwhelming to keep up. Plus the cost of maintaining a blog – expensive! As a newish blogger (just over two years now) I wonder how long I can hold on. But I haven’t heard God say let go, and it sounds like you didn’t either 🙂

Katherine, I am so excited to hear you decided to keep at it. I did not want to weigh in, as I think it should be your decision. Whether we do or do not blog seems so personal to me.
