Retirement Cottage Blog Series Part 3 Garden Gate

Hello friends, it’s time for part three of my Retirement Cottage Blog Series. I’m sharing my inspiration with you. Because I believe in the power of prayer, manifesting, LOA and visualizing things and positivity into my life. I hope you will join me as I visualize a sweet light filled retirement cottage that looks out onto the water. If you missed the two previous posts in the series please click HERE . This week the focus is on the perfect garden gate. Because you can’t have my dream retirement cottage without one ( smile).

Whether it’s the gate to your back garden or the gate to your front walk, it needs to have plenty of character, don’t you agree?

I hope you’ll be inspired by the wonderful gates I’m sharing with you today.

I love the flower filled basket on this garden gate, the hardware makes a statement and it seems to fit seamlessly with the craggy brick. A bit of modern mixed with weathered. It works for me.

This gate surely has a story, I love the dip in the center. It leads to the front door, and I think the paver pathway looks wonderful with its color.

This one has a fun lever. I know, who looks at the lever ( handle), ummm I do ( smile). I think the rose bushes on either side bring attention to the detail in this gate.

This last one I found at a lovely blog, (sadly she has stopped blogging ) Once upon a time..Tales from Carmel by the Sea. It’s made of twigs and scraps and it is perfectly wonky and filled with character.
