The Art of Felting Autumn Decor
Hello friends, The art of felting is a textile art form that transforms a ball of wool into something beautiful. Using a felting needle to mat, condense, and press woolen fibers together the artist creates a finished piece that often has me gobsmacked. I’ve been stashing felting tools and wool for a while now; I am fascinated by this art form and I know you will love it too. So, lets start decorating with felted art for autumn.
These adorable little acorns will fill a bowl with autumn. Each one is hand felted by Sheila Weil Studios.
These pumpkins and gourds will add autumn touches to your home with a variety of natural hues. Created by the artist at Once Again Sam.
I have a fondness for squirrels and this beautiful piece made by Felt Fellows by Maria made me smile. I can just picture it sitting atop a dish filled with almond ( still in the shell).
This felted hedgehog created by the artist at Weaver Bird Store would look so cute tucked into a cloche with autumn leaves and bits of brambly branches.
DISCLAIMER– I have never purchased from these talented artists, I do not know them, I am not affiliated with them. I just wanted to share their beautiful work to inspire your autumn decorating.
Are you or is someone you know a felting artist? I’d love to have you as my guest (smile)
You can still add your blog posts to TFT blog hop until midnight tonight (smile)

It’s really amazing what can be created with needle felting. The pieces look very artistic – a skill not sure I can master but might be willing to try one day! Thanks for sharing these incredible transformations!
