Autumn on a Tray Blog Tour

Hello friends, today you are in for a real treat! I’ve gathered some wonderful bloggy friends to bring you inspiration for your autumn home décor. You don’t have to decorate everything, maybe just a tray filled with autumn creativity is enough. It doesn’t matter where you live or how big your home is. You don’t even have to buy anything, use what you have. Most of us can find a place for a tray filled with autumn ( smile).

If you’re coming over from Shoestring Elegance, thank you!

Thank you to all of the lovely bloggers for joining me for the Autumn On a Tray Blog Tour. They have all created beautiful inspirations for adding seasonal charm to your home. Please click over to the next blog on the tour, and keep clicking through the tour. Please pin and leave comments, we all love them!

A Plethora of Pumpkins

To create my Autumn on a Tray, I filled my tray with fresh and faux pumpkins, nothing new was purchased ( except the fresh baby boo pumpkins purchased a while ago from the local farm).

I started by fraying the edge of a piece of burlap and placing it inside the leaf covered candle holder. A simple thing about burlap, you can easily make a fun edge just by pulling on a few threads. I placed a vase inside for the reeds.

autumn on a tray home décor katherines corner it all started with a bit of burlap

Then some topiary balls rolled in and I added a wicker ring wreath and a knotted garland ( shameless plug I will have the garlands available in the shop next week. You can pre-order if you’d like, just contact me (smile).

I tucked in soft faux leaves and little felt pumpkins, and they all rested beautifully together to fill my tray with autumn. A plethora of pumpkins was born. Then it was finished and ready for the table.

This was such a fun and different hop, I was so happy to be able to join in! Thanks so much for hosting! Your tray really does speak all things Autumn! I especially love that beautiful decorative pumpkin on your tray, how pretty that is! Your tip on fraying burlap takes me back to junior high school when I remember doing a wall hanging out of burlap just by pulling strings and tying some on burlap! Always a good tip for anything decorative you can do with burlap!
