Christmas on a Tray Blog Tour
Hello friends, are you ready for another amazing blog tour? That’s right, I’m calling it a tour. I just think it works best. I’m sorry to those of you who told me the Autumn on a tray Blog Tour was actually a blog hop (smile). Some lovely bloggy friends have joined me to share creative ways to decorate for Christmas with just a tray! Remember you don’t have to decorate everything, just a tray filled with Christmas creativity may be enough to get your “merry” on. It doesn’t matter where you live, or how big your home is. You don’t even have to buy anything, use what you have. Most of us can find a place for a tray filled with Christmas ( smile).
If you’re coming over from Celebrate and Decorate, thank you, I hope you’ve enjoyed the tour!
Christmas Cookie Day at Grandma’s (that’s me, 5 grandchildren ages 11-22) is always something to look forward to every year. We “bake” happy memories and enjoy treats of all kinds, movies are watched, and games are played. It really is one of the highlights of the holiday season. I was informed that they will never be to old for cookie day, and I had a smile from ear to ear. So with that being shared, I used it as a theme for my Christmas on a Tray Display.
I filled the tiers with crinkled white paper, I added some happy baking fairies ( from my old kitchen tree). Placed chocolate kisses in little striped baking paper cups. I added mini pies wrapped in holiday cello and I pinned them closed with painted candy cane striped clothes pins.
A few berries and ribbon candy trees, gold bells, ribbon and recycled pompoms all came together to create my Christmas on a Tray.
I added Christmas treat boxes ( from my Katherines Corner online shop) filled with chocolate kisses and my “trademark” (used in many of my tablescapes) spilling out onto the red placemat. (smile).
Where was Izzy? Watching me closely.
I plan to do more “on a tray” blog tours in 2022 too. Please watch for my blog post invitations, I look forward to having you join us.
Thank you to all of the lovely bloggers for joining me for the Christmas On a Tray Blog Tour. They have all created beautiful inspirations for adding Christmas magic to your home. Please click over to Common Ground, the next blog on the tour, and please keep clicking through the tour.
Please pin and leave comments, we all love them!

Katherine, First, I cannot believe you have a grandchild that is 22!! I love your tray!! It actually looks like a white filigree Christmas tree! Your little fairies are cute as can be! Being a major Christmas cookie baker myself, I can thoroughly appreciate everything that goes into a wonderful day of baking with family! I wish mine were close enough to spend the day baking with me! Thank you so much for hosting this wonderful hop! This is such a creative idea! Merry Christmas!
Oh sweet Chloe, thank you for the compliment. I’m so happy you joined in the tours. I look forward to doing more tray tours in the new year for holidays and seasons ( of course you will be invited). I wish your grandchildren were closer too. We had cookie day via zoom last year (smiley face). It’s not to late. Sending Hugs and Merry Christmas wishes across the miles!
Hi Katherine, sorry I’m so late getting here. We were without electricity all day here so that was a real bummer! I just adore your tiered tray it’s totally adorable. And how fun that you get to have Cookie Day with all your grandkids. What an amazing blessing that is! I love hearing that they’ll never be too old to enjoy it. so sweet! Thanks again for including me, and I’m heading over to visit the rest of the group. Take care and have a wonderful Christmas week. Sending Christmas hugs and blessings!
Debra, thank you so much for your lovely comment. Power outages are a huge bummer I know. When we had our last one I spent time reading magazines that had stacked up on our table. Power outages caused my hubby to buy a generator a few years ago. A little secret, we’ve only had to use it once, but I think he hopes for an outage so we can use it again (smile).
I’m so happy you enjoyed the tour. I look forward to having you join me next year too. God bless and Merry Christmas!
Your tray is just beautiful, thanks for hosting with us.

Hello Katherine! Your tray is very beautiful and joyful! Wish you a great day and thank you for hosting the blog tour!
Katherine, love the mixture of sweet treats and cute little baking fairies all sharing the same space. How wonderful to have your grand kids want to spend a baking day with you. I’m smiling along with you!
Thank you once more for pulling the hop/tours together. They are right up my décor alley 🙂
Your tray is adorable Katherine, it looks like a Christmas candy shop! The tray itself is really pretty and so different, I love the lacy look of the white tiers. So many cute little figurines and yummy treats! Your cookie day tradition with your grands is so special and sounds like so much fun. I do something similar with my 4, we decorate gingerbread houses every year, and just did that on Sunday. Thank you so much for being our hostess, and I’m so glad you want to keep the tray tours going next year!
