Egg-stra Special Easter Eggs
Hello friends, oops I meant to post this on Saturday. There’s an artistic way to decorate Easter Eggs when you are an adult. There are so many mediums to use. I am fond of paint and pens. But I’ve also enjoyed decoupaging the eggs too. So today I’m sharing fun and inspiring ways to make your Easter Eggs Egg-stra special (smile)
You can choose a variety of eggs to use. Wooden eggs, papier-mâché eggs and empty eggs too. But if you’re like me, you’ll just boil them, keep them in the fridge over night and then get busy.
Most of the time I like to start off with a dyed egg. You can find a variety of ways to dye your eggs HERE . I get the best results when the eggs are refrigerated over night.
Okay time to get your crafty hat on! Lets start with some straight up hard boiled eggs and some fine tip pens and a gold glitter pen. The Easter bunny ears are made with felt and are optional. (smile)
top row black fine tip , bottom row decoupaged and glitter pen, and rose gold marker.
You can use watercolors or acrylic paint to make your Easter eggs Egg-stra special. It takes me a while to do them this way, so I use artificial eggs instead of real eggs.
I get the best results for decoupaging eggs when I use decorative tissue paper or paper napkins. Top row decoupaged. There are some really cute stencils available in the craft shops too. Bottom row stenciled using dabbing sponge.
They are all so cute!
Thank you I hope you’ll try making some Hugs!
