Change

Dear friends, as spring ushers in a much-needed change of scenery and dormant flowers and shrubs begin to slowly awaken from their winter hibernation, I’m filled with anticipation of the beautiful changes yet to come. Soon the yard and garden once bereft of color will burst forth with all of the colors and fragrances of spring. A renewal and change that I always welcome.

Spring also reminds me of the importance of change. I know change can be scary, but it can also be exciting, unexpected and joyful. It can bring with it new opportunities to be considered and stumbling blocks that are now stepping stones.

I am embracing change by acknowledging how strong and resilient I really am. I’m looking forward to new opportunities for success and I know it will bring much awaited rewards.

Resisting change is useless.

Jimmy Dean said “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

If you are facing a change, I hope you will take these thoughts with you. I hope they bring you optimism and lead to many open doors that bring happiness your way. Remember life is all about change, change is inevitable, how you react to it is up to you.
