Paper Purge
Hello friends, it’s time for a paper purge! Decluttering paper feels like clearing space in my mind. Time has a way of sneaking up on us, and for me that means bringing along a small mountain of collected ideas, and DIY.
Gathering all of these papers came from a desire to create and share. But, now it seems more like a “To Do” list and less of a realistic stack of inspiration.

What Am I Purging?
- Idea Notes: Sticky notes with “brilliant” middle-of-the-night thoughts, quick sketches, and inspiration.
- Articles & Clippings: Endless pages saved on topics that caught my eye or sparked my curiosity.
- Project Folders: Collections filled with recipes to try, crafts to make, and ideas to study “someday.”
You’ll probably think it’s weird, but when I look at the piles I’ve recycled I actually feel a bit lighter. That stack of papers was weighing me down, slowing me down, and making me feel …well… a little defeated.
Putting all of the paper into the recycle bin isn’t letting go of my ideas, or inspiration. (smile) Because I’m making room for what’s next.

Now I have one notebook and my goal is to keep just a few things and look through it regularly. No file folders, or stapled papers, to do lists, paper clutter, and definitely no more post it notes!
