DIY Pumpkin Centerpieces
Hello, friends! Autumn is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time to add a little festive warmth to our homes. Today, I’m sharing some creative ideas for using pumpkins to craft a lovely centerpiece for your Autumn or Thanksgiving table.

It’s a great way to embrace your creative side! Note- these ideas aren’t just for the dining table. You can use them on a mantel, a side table, or gathered together on a tray. You know how much I love decorating with trays! (smile)

Here are a few simple tips to keep in mind as you create your custom pumpkin display.
The Base: The base of your table can be a neutral runner or tablecloth that complements your centerpiece colors. Consider using a patterned tablecloth.
Keep the Height Low: Aim for a centerpiece that stays around 12 inches tall or lower. This keeps sight lines clear so your lovely family and guests can easily talk and see each other across the table.

Table Space: Be sure to leave plenty of room for place settings, stemware, and serving dishes so your table feels comfortable and uncluttered.
Embrace Faux Details: Don’t hesitate to go faux like I did! High-quality faux pumpkins, artificial greenery, and fabric blooms look gorgeous and can be enjoyed year after year without wilting.

Mix Shades and Textures: Try pairing classic orange, creamy white, or soft blue pumpkins with natural wood, velvet, or woven textures for a charming, dimensional look.
Add Warm Light: Nestling a few battery-operated votive candles or a small string of fairy lights around your pumpkin grouping creates a lovely glow, especially for evening meals.

I hope these ideas inspire you to create a pumpkin centerpiece for your table.
Hugs!
