The other day I got up early and logged onto my etsy site at 4 am (for those of you who don’t know what etsy is-it is a place where artists,designers and crafters like myself can open a shop and sell our creations to the world) anxiously awaiting the “go” signal to make a name change for my shop. I really enjoy being an etsy seller. But, I have never been happy with my shop name, shop Polka Dots. You may recall a little while ago I did a post about my shop. If you missed it please click here. When I originally opened the shop you were “stuck” with the name you had selected. But, recently etsy has allowed sellers to change their shop names. You only get one shot at it and then that’s it, never again.
So there I was glued to the keyboard, my etsy page open, even if my eyes weren’t. I waited and waited and waited some more. But, no go signal….. there was an issue and the change was delayed, finally at 345pm I did it! I changed my shop name to Keepsakes By Katherine!! I even bought the domain name just in case, I now own KeepsakesByKatherine.com too.
