  1. What a shame there has been a lack of interest, I have considered joining you in the past but being on the other side of the pond, usually means I have not even heard of the books you choose. I am not sure if you follow my Book review Blog but if you do you may be interested in my Extras page on FB, do call by and say hi sometime. You are welcome to mention this bookclub read there, you may generate more interest.

  2. I meant to add. ( in my comment above )..that I have already committed to reading several books for the month of April, so I wont be able to read this one right now..but I will be adding it to my – To be read – list, thank you!

  3. This looks like a wonderful book! My Son is autistic, so I can totally understand this authors point of view on “embracing the beauty”. =)

I saw a autism gift yesterday, that said
“Its an Autism thing..you wouldnt understand…”
( I can totally relate to that sentence….)

  4. Good idea to create a new post for each book club book– that is how other online book clubs seem to do it as well.

Ha, and I was so excited that the 3 previous choices suited my speculative fiction loving soul perfectly. Good thing I spotted Wolf Gift and Discovery of Witches at the library and checked them both out. Already finished Wolf Gift– fun read.

I’m not too interested in Bloom but if I have time I may give it a go.

  5. We have had two people in our family with Down Syndrome. I avoid them like the plague. I would never read a book about them. I’m way too sensitive. I know they are a blessing from God but I have just never been able to deal with it. Sorry

  6. I am thrilled you picked a different book! I just ordered it!! Oh, and I am glad you are fixing the comments so it is just with the book, it was hard to scroll down to get to the book and join a discussion. I am excited for the changes!!

Love each other as God loves you xo
