It is interesting to see the icicle Katie. It is chilly and rainy here this morning. Yesterday it was windy and we were without electricity for 8 hours. I hope your internet problems will soon be over. Take care.
ah….it’s warm ove here. No icicles except those in the freezer 🙂
Can you believe how “indispensable” the internet has become? It is amazing! Remember how things used to be done? Hope you’re up and running normally soon!
Sorry about your internet.
I would not want to be standing under that ice dagger if it breaks!
It’s SO hot here, one of your icicles would be very welcome indeed. 🙂
Love the photo. I remember many icicles while growing up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Thanks for the reminder. Hope your internet is up and running soon.
Cool icicle! ;D

I can’t believe it but we haven’t had any icicles yet…and I’m in Pennsylvania! Kinda liking it tho 🙂
Yikes! That’s a scary sharp icicle. Sorry about your internet being down; ours was down last night, too! We have satellite internet and sometimes it’s such a pain!
It’s a grey and rainy day here. I remember icicles like those when we lived in Northwest Indiana hanging from my eaves.
So sorry you are having problems with the internet. It can be so frustrating dealing with computers! I hope you can get it figured out!
This reminded me so much of my Grandma’s house when I was a kid. The old farmhouse had a metal roof and no gutters, so icicles would form all winter. We had to be careful not to play near them, but we would occasionally sneak in to break off small ones to lick 🙂 Some winters they would extend from the 2 story roof all the way to the ground!
Hope your internet is up and running soon! I know how frustrating that is 🙁
I havent seen any of these this year ( In Central KS )….
Hope you are having a better day!
Hugs
Melissa
Winter w/o one of them hanging around would be…fantastic? he he he 🙂
Believe it or not here in NY it is 50 degrees and Sunny. We haven’t had much snow at all or freezing temps either. Kind of bizarre. Although, I am not a fan of the cold, so I am not complaining. but sure after saying this all will change and I will want to die of the cold, snow and ice, lol!!
Wouldn’t walk below that!
Yeah, I agree with Janine. It’s January here in North Carolina and we’ve had only a dusting of snow – in early December. That’s crazy because even five years ago it used to snow all the time in the winter. Temps are supposed to climb into the 70s by the weekend, too. So, all this to say I love your icicle and I wish Old Man Winter would spread his love down here. 🙂
That was a familiar sight during my childhood up north, Katie. I wish I could experience real winter weather more often. Here in Florida we are expecting record heat today with the temperature soaring to the upper 80s! Spring (and apparently summer) have sprung!
