It’s always a pleasure to tour a beautiful home filled with inspiration. Maria Elena from Our Home Away From Home has a blog filled with wonderful diy and decorating tips. It is my pleasure to have her as my guest today. She is sharing her gorgeous home with us.♥
Hello Katherine’s Corner readers! It is such a pleasure to be here today. Thank you so much for having me Katherine.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Maria Elena and I blog at Our Home Away from Home.
I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, where my family still resides.
We are a retired military family and after twenty three years of traveling the world, we were finally able to settle down in one place and build our dream home.
Come on in and let me show you around.
My husband and I love to get our hands “dirty”, 🙂 so, on any given weekend you will find us in the garage/shop building furniture, adding bead board to our porch or laying out tile.
I love to spend time crafting and creating new things for our home, like seasonal decor, wreaths, drop cloth outdoor curtains and pillow covers. Lots and lots of pillow covers. LOL
