Pieces of Autumn
I think it may actually be Autumn now, giggle. The temps here are finally getting cooler. It’s time to put away the shorts and bring out the big fluffy cozy sweaters ( yea!!) I love sweater weather. You all know by now that I am not a fan of hot. Cooler temps always make me happy. With Autumn temperatures comes pieces of Autumn, little bits of Autumn in and around our home.
Just a few minutes away from home this is what I see. It will soon be carpeted with snow.
Autumn trees often mean acorns. I couldn’t find any in the woods. But I did find some at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts . I added some pretty acorn bells and bits of twine to this pretty autumn dish, also found at JoAnn’s.
I don’t have a lot of Autumn decor in our home. Just a few bits here and there to help usher in the season change.
I’ll be adding some Thanks giving decor very soon. 🙂
Velvet pumpkin 🙂

Autumn Angel ♥
Autumn decor wouldn’t be complete with out my Autumn Sprite.
He shares a giggle while sitting on top of a bowl filled with Autumn leaves.
A few Pieces of Autumn are scattered throughout the kitchen too.
Autumn colored roses are on the dining table.
The leaves are withering but the rose colors are still brilliant.
My favorite color, purple ( I even have a pinterest board for shades of purple HERE) finds its way into my Autumn decor.
Learn how to make a wrapped wire ring HERE I made this autumn ring in just a few minutes.
No matter where your road begins I am happy it lead you here to Katherines Corner ♥

Thanks Maria

What beautiful decor for fall!
Thank you Jennifer xo
Sometimes a few pieces is just enough.
Thank you Sandra, I agree xo
Yes, it’s really Autumn and the foliage is beautiful. The stores are stocked with Christmas decorations and most stores will be open on Thanksgiving…and old man winter is waiting in the wings, so have a wonderful weekend.
We have had some crazy weather lowly but we are hopeful cooler temps are on the way xo
You have a beautiful home!
Thank you Missy xox
Your photos are SEW beautiful. Quite a stark contrast from the sunshine and green palms of South Florida. We do have our own signs and smells of Fall here. The humidity is gone. Open are the doors and windows. We can now turn off the air conditioner and breathe the smells of fresh cut grass lawns, salt water from the Gulf of Mexico, and the ever blooming flowers that are present. The nights are perfect for sleeping with the windows open and cuddle under a light cover. Sitting out each evening is awesome under starlit skies in warm evenings makes for great times with family and friends.
Just as the birds fly south for the winter, so do many of our friends and family flock south – our “Snow Birds.”

My parents just finished a trip through New England to view the leaves turning. It is so picturesque. Love your ring!

Greetings Katherine,
I love your Autumn Pieces post!
I also love your Autumn Sprite. Where did you find this cute little guy? Please share, as I would like to start a small collection of these.
Thanks!
Hello and thank you, sorry for the delay in replying. I love my little Autumn Sprite too. I bought it at a local shop several years ago. The shop is Rainbow Gardens. It has a restaurant and a little boutique too and its located at the mouth of the canyon where my husband likes to fish.
Do you live in Utah? xo
Thank you Katherine. I will have to order the whimsical Sprite online, because I live in the Sunshine State of Florida.
Everything you shared here on your post looks beautiful and cozy to me. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings!
Fall is my favorite season also. Love your touches of autumn that you have done in your home.
Thank you Lori, I enjoy the little touches that remind me that the season changes is coming. xo
Simply lovely. The autumn colors and textures always comfort me.
Linda
Hello Linda, I find comfort in the Autumn colors as well. In the spring I love the feeling you get as you wait for new blooms in the garden. In the Autumn I find myself more relaxed as I enjoy the crisp mornings and the autumn hues as they prepare us for a white landscape. xo
Definitely autumn and love the path that leads you to Katherine’s Corner!! xoxo!! 🙂
ahhh you are such a doll xo
These are gorgeous colours, I still love this velvet pumpkin, that is so beautiful :)) I love Autumn time…I hope you have a wonderful weekend my dear xx
I love Autumn too, I wish the weather here would seem more like Autumn than Spring, giggle xo
