Last weekend was our anniversary weekend; our anniversary was actually on Monday June 1st.

Hubby took Friday off to go fishing and then spent Saturday and Sunday with me. We both got a lot of sun, he’s squinting for this selfie, he really is a very happy hubby!

Before I started my work day in my art room. Izzy and I went for a walk

After our little adventure he found his favorite sunny spot in the house and took a well-deserved nap.

Saturday hubby and I visited the local nursery and picked out some wonderful flowers for our containers and a few veggie starts to replace those lost in our recent hail storms.

We sat outside and enjoyed the sun, oh I just realized my second toe is standing at attention, LOL

It was very bright when hubby snapped this photo.

Sunday brought with it more sunny weather and another opportunity to sit outside for a while (until the heat was more than I could stand 88°F). See what I mean I wasn’t joking about my blindingly white legs!

Sunday meditation was interrupted by welcome laughter and lots of silliness with hubby (behind the camera) and Izzy trying to be in every photo.

Later that evening I made our anniversary ribs 
I enjoyed the weekend of happy memory making and I did it all walking on marshmallows.

My feet were in their happy place, comfy and cushioned in my San Antonio Shoemakers™ (SAS)  handcrafted Pampa sandals.
