Chocolate and Peanut Butter Spiders
Chocolate and Peanut Butter Spiders-
Halloween has never been one of the holiday’s I enjoy. Our grandchildren like it so I do have a few “halloween-ish” decorations out. I really enjoyed making these fun Chocolate and Peanut Butter Spiders with our daughter and our youngest grandson ( our other four grandchildren were in school.) It’s super simple. You may have seen similar ones before, I am kicking it up a notch with a little help from my friends at Hormel and their new product Skippy PB Bites. I think nearly everyone likes the taste of chocolate and Peanut Butter together.
What You Need
Skippy Peanut Butter Bites
Chocolate covered hostess Ding Dongs ( or similar product)
Black licorice strings
Frosting
M&M’s , skittles or similar candy
Toothpicks
Lets make it !
Cut eight pieces of licorice for the legs, about 2-3 inches in length. Poke four holes on each side of the ding dong ( or similar cake) push the licorice into the toothpicks holes. Add two frosting “blobs” and place two PB Bites on the blobs, add a couple of more blobs on top of the PB Bites and place your candy. Taa Daa! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Will you make these yummy Chocolate and Peanut Butter Spiders with your children or grandchildren?
I look forward to seeing what you share at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop this week ( link up starts tomorrow night at 7:00 (MST). See you then!
