Design Trends Review 2015
Design Trends Review 2015-
It has been a pleasure being one of the Brand Ambassadors for Graham & Brown this year. It is hard to believe this is my last post for the 2015 year in design. I have enjoyed the year of design projects and challenges very much.Creating my interpretations of the design trends allowed me to share with you and it was extra special to be included with those who are professional interior designers. It has been a sincere pleasure to work with Rebecca from Graham & Brown too. Making new friends is always welcome.
The Final Challenge- how has my home changed during the 2015 year in design?
Thank you for following along with our home DIY projects and changes. Our den (my office) had a big makeover and we put up a new backsplash in our kitchen. I’ll be sharing that in 2016.
It is important to me that each room in our home represents who we are and provides welcome comfort. There is no room in our home that is look but don’t touch. I design/decorate with things I love and I will forever be changing things around a little bit. But, the den and my art room are both complete. I may add some new bits and bobs once in a while. But they are both completed projects. Do you remember when my art room had a makeover in 2014?
The year in design project allowed me to be a trend spotter. I soaked up interior design trends and patterns like a little sponge in the vast ocean. There is still so much to learn. My favorite trend was Popsicle. It allowed me to share a precious keepsake from my Mother. I’m looking forward sharing the design trends for 2016.
The trends and challenges design trends review may spark your design strategy. Or will you wait and see what the trends will be for 2016? Plaid will be big in 2016; I love plaid it always makes me think of cozy days indoors in cold weather.
I invite you to discover the Year in Design 2015 posts.
