Spring Time
Spring Time
I find myself talking about the weather and spring time more and more these days. I smile when I see a few struggling daffodils along the front drive. They pushed hard to find their way to the surface. Sadly, all of the others tulips, some hyacinths and the rest of the daffodils have not made their presence known. The fluctuating temperatures may keep them underground this year. So I am enjoying the few that reached for the sun after their winter nap. I wrote a post about daffodils a few years back if you missed it you can find it HERE. ( the photos are quick snaps).
I think it’s important for me to mention it’s snowing again. Not to worry though as the weekend forecast is supposed to be close to 70 degrees. I definitely see a bit of yard work in my future. Hubby has been turning soil in our veggie garden and soon the peas will be planted. I’m getting excited for the promise of fresh veggies from the garden.
Our little bird garden has seen better days and will soon be turned and a few changes made. We will have to transplant the rhododendrons and peonies. It can be a difficult task and you know I will be sharing with you.

The weather here has been quite crazy, too. Was almost 70 yesterday after rain showers. Now more rain showers here today and possible snow tomorrow. Just want spring to show up for good now, as well! Happy Weekend Katie xoxo <3
