She has a beautiful way of designing with elements from nature. It has been a little while since I had a bit of craftiness to share. Maria generously offered to share her diy oyster shell mini candle holders. Put on your crafty hats and grab your glue gun!
Hello! My name is Maria Brittis. I am a decorator, wife, mother and blogger at Simple Nature Decor… I am so honored to be a guest blogger at Katherine’s Corner. Katherine has been a huge source of inspiration to me for the past few years. I have been blogging for three years and I am so grateful to have such a creative and loving friend. She is always is there to help in my blogging adventures.
I love to make things out of nature… so today I thought it will be nice to make you all a mini oyster shell candle. Except for a few broken nails, working with oysters can be tricky, but I found an easy way to create a lovely candle holder. So enjoy the tutorial below.
SUPPLIES:
Oyster shells
Burlap
Glue Gun
STEPS:
Take 4 flat oysters, place on burlap and outline them with a magic marker.
Cut the oyster shell shapes and glue the oysters back on the cut-outs.
Start adding one layer of oyster shells with the glue gun, until you have 4 layers that form a circular candle holder.
IT’S THAT EASY!

Love the oyster candle holder! Pinned
I’m sharing this with a friend who loves the ocean!
I could use many items in your craft supply shop.
I would spend it on decor for my patio. It could use some updated items.
Thank you for the great giveaway opportunity!
I really like the Bouquet Locket, Sterling Silver Locket from Keepsakes by Katherine. I wish I would have known about these bouquet lockets when I got married. It’s such a cute keepsake that you can cherish forever. Love it!
I would probably spend my PayPal cash on some groceries if I won. It would buy a lot. 🙂
