Summer Tablescape Blog Tour
Hello bloggy friends happy weekend wishes! Last month I asked if you would like to be part of a summer tablescape blog tour and some of you said yes, thank you so much! If you are a subscriber you know I always say I am missing the tablescaping gene, wink. But, I put myself up for the challenge and I had fun doing it. I’m happy to be hosting two tablescapes created by my readers Gail and Cookie. You will find them on the tour list. I love Gail’s China Pattern and Cookie’s silverware cozy is so cute too! Enjoy the tour and thank you to all who participate and share.
I chose a beachy theme for my summer tablescape. This is no big surprise for those of you who are regular readers at Katherines Corner. I love spending time by the water. I dream of living in a little cottage by the water someday.
I put this tablescape together using things I already own.
It was an overcast day when I set my table. But, it was still very hot. I used a pretty blue ombre curtain panel for my tablecloth, it’s from my prop box.
I found most of the shells while I was snorkeling in the Caribbean many, many, years ago. The starfish are from Michaels craft store, I’ve had them for a very long time.
The only purchase I made was for the pretty white carnations. I think I should cut them a bit shorter next time. What do you think?
You can see some of our fuschia colored petunias in this photo . If you follow me on instagram you’ve already seen them.
You can also see a bit of the veggie garden too.
You know our Izzy is never far away, he was supervising my tablescape creation. We keep the grass long to help conserve water and it helps to keep the lawn green too. Just in case you thought we were working on growing a jungle in the back yard, LOL.
Well there you have it my contribution to the summer tablescape blog tour. I am so happy to be hosting such a fun tour. I hope to improve on my tablescaping skills over time.
Enjoy the summer tablescape blog tour my friends! PLEASE leave comments and pin. All of the lovelies created beautiful tables.
You can still link up and share at the TFT party too.
Each tablescape creator will be put into a random drawing to win two prizes. The book Tableofferings and a Gift Code for my shop!
Your beach themed tablescape turned out beautifully, Mrs. Katherine. The colors are so cheerful and lovely. I love all the little details.
