Never to Hot to Party at TFT

It’s HOT here, it feels as if we are smack dab in the middle of the equator kind of hot. But, it’s never to hot to party at TFT. I love Thursdays at Katherines Corner! Where blog writers and blog readers party together. My co hostesses and I know you are awesome and we all know when other link parties have closed their doors ours will remain open. Come one and all and let’s rock TFT. I’ll start with a few of the features that caught my eye last week. Please remember to click and pin from the original blog post and don’t forget to click and visit two posts before yours on the list.

never to hot to party at TFT 1

Vintage Paint and More made twisted paper pumpkins! I love this craft using lunch bags. Very clever!

Simply Stacie made baked brown sugar glazed donuts, I think I may have drooled a little.

Lovely Livings shared some beautiful peonies and roses home decor, wait until you see her mantel, pure elegance!

The style Safari shared her parachute jacket and print dress combination. So cute!

I think you might be able to do this with a maxi dress for those of us not 21 ( wink). parachute jacket and print dress combination

Another style post caught my eye. It may be the best photo I have seen a long time shared by Jodie’s Touch of Style

three generations pool party

Gentle Joy Photography captured some beautiful blooms in her farmstead garden post.

Please share our party with your social networks. I’d love it if you would consider inviting them to our party too!

Please follow all of your lovely hostesses, they are amazing women.

Get to know them and all that they share on their blogs.

We ALL share our features from your posts every week. Let’s get YOU featured!

Not really hot here in all honesty and has been a very mild, cooler summer here. Wish we would at least get a heat wave before the summer ends now as at least enjoy some warmer weather before all is said and done. Happy Thursday now my friend!! xoxo <3

[…] And while you’re doing that, I’m going to go and finish my closet inventory. I’ve some jeans and a couple of blouses that are not going to survive this season’s cull. I’ll be wrapping them up to take over to my friend Fiona’s consignment store. And I need to finish my “needs/wants” list. I have one item on my to-buy list so far. An item that, if I can find it, will pull a number of disparate pieces in my wardrobe together. And give me that perfect, easy, pull on and feel fiercely fabulous every time outfit. Hopefully.   Sigh. There’s nothing like a little closet-culling and list-making to pull one out of serious book aversion syndrome. You know, where you understand that a book has merit, that the issues and themes are important. But which you just don’t want to think about. At least not right now. You’re not putting your head in the sand. Or willfully blinding yourself to the facts and the consequences. You’re just saying, “Not today.”  And trying not to feel guilty about your ability to be able to say that.  So, what about you, my friends? Any serious books that you’ve given up on lately? Or are you more persistent than me? Maybe you don’t cull your closet as therapy. Or maybe you do. If so, what’s on your list for fall?  Linking up with: Saturday Share and Thursday Favourite Things.
