It’s pie season! Just like sweater season it’s one I can’t wait for. I can make myself a variety of trigger free pie’s , so yea! I think it is also called the chubby season, I can cover up with my sweater wink. I’m shining the light on some sure to be yummy, pie recipes for today’s Pie Monday Inspiration. Thank you to everyone who shares at the TFT party every week. These are just a few of the creative posts from last week. But, remember, you will find even more inspiration at the TFT party from last week, so hop back and take a look to see what else will inspire you. As long as I am on the subject of hopping back, a little bit of a stretch but I’m good with it, did you remember to set your clocks back an hour? Can I just take a moment to express my sincere dislike for daylight saving time. I know it was needed during World War 1 but is it really needed now? Do you feel more rested with that whole extra hour of time? Just a reminder, please pin from the original source ( just click the image to go to their post).
Are you new to Monday Inspirations? No problem here’s the scoop. Monday inspirations has taken the place of Make It Monday. Still inspiring us in a zillion ways but with one very fun twist. I will select a theme, but when you share your posts you won’t know what theme I have selected. Aha a little mystery! Then I will share some of your wonderful posts. I will still be featuring a few other selected posts at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop too. Remember to leave a comment and your link number when you party with us on Thursday’s. Just a reminder that all of the photos belong to their respective blogs unless otherwise indicated. Please pin from the source to assure bloggers are getting the credit they deserve. Each individual blog image is clickable. If you missed a Monday Inspiration or Make It Monday you can find them all HERE.

Have you ever wondered where the phrase “here’s pie in your eye” came from?
I thought it might be from the gags used in the old movies.

I’ve also heard it used in a toast, clink raised glasses, here’s to pie in your eye.
A quick look through google didn’t provide me with any definitive answers. So, “here’s pie in your eye” friends. Enjoy!

They look lush! Well apart from the peanut butter one, can’t abide peanut butter.
The Sewdish apple one looks interesting using cardammon instead of cinnamon which I think spoils the taste of the apples.
Thanks for these ideas although I really shouldn’t be eating stuff like this before Christmas!
