  1. I love that idea of decorating plain donuts–I’ve never thought of doing that for Valentine’s Day! My husband would enjoy that!

  2. Your table looks really pretty with all the fresh flowers. I love the heart shaped flower bouquet. I’m not sure what my husband and I are doing for Valentine’s day. Hopefully Grandma will watch our girls.

    1. Date night is always a nice choice. But if there’s no babysitter available. You could always have family valentine time. Play games, eat chocolate, etc. all surrounded by those who love you and those you love. Hugs!

      1. I agree! That’s what we’ll probably do. We just NEED a date. Can’t remember our last date night. We didn’t even get a date without kids for our anniversary in December since the kids were sick.

  4. I agree that love is for everyone. It can feel lonely if everyone you know is part of a “couple,” so it is good to be empathetic. Doing something special is worth the effort to remind ourselves that we are loved more than we know by God! That said, good idea to think about including single friends for a Valentine’s day event.

  5. My husband really doesn much believe in celebrating Valentines Day, he never has. Huge disappointment actually, but thats him. I always give a gift and a card.

  6. Wow, so I need you to come to Kentucky and fill my house with flowers and yummy treats! I’ve never used FTD for flowers but I’ll search their site for a bundle for my mom!
