Freshly Cut
It’s no big news that I enjoy displaying freshly cut flowers in a pretty vessel, keyword “vessel”. Whether they are used on your table as a centerpiece or for adding freshly gathered flowers to a room there is no denying the beauty and ambiance ( don’t forget the fragrance) flowers can add. I have flowers on our dining table “almost” always. Whether they are freshly cut from the garden or an inexpensive bundle from the local market I just think flowers add an extra touch of personality to the room, don’t you? I always like seeing the creative ways others are using to display freshly cut flowers. For this week’s Monday Inspirations I’m shining the light on a few of the blog posts from last week’s party that displayed or incorporated freshly cut flowers in creative vessels. There are more freshly cut flowers and other wonderful things shared at the party last week too. Please take a moment after you are done and click back to last weeks party and see what you might have missed.
Are you new to Monday Inspirations? No problem here’s the scoop. Monday inspirations has taken the place of Make It Monday. Still inspiring us in a zillion ways but with one very fun twist. I will select a theme, but when you share your posts you won’t know what theme I have selected. Aha, a little mystery! Then I will share some of your wonderful posts. I will still be featuring a few other selected posts at the Thursday Favorite Things blog party too. Remember to leave a comment and your link number when you party with us on Thursday’s. Just a reminder that all of the photos belong to their respective blogs unless otherwise indicated. Please pin from the source to assure bloggers are getting the credit they deserve. Each individual blog image is clickable. If you missed a Monday Inspiration or Make It Monday you can find them all HERE.
If you have somehow missed our party, I cordially invite you to join us every Thursday (through Saturday) for a blog writer and blog reader party like no other. Please click on the photo to go to the original blog to comment, pin, etc. I always want to make sure the original blogger gets the credit. I’d love it if you’d pin my collage though… wink, wink, nudge nudge.
A Day of Small Things gets the theme rolling with her creative Simple Joys blog post.

I love any casual way to display flowers – the bag idea is adorable! I often forget to cut my own flowers and bring them indoors to enjoy. I usually remember to get some of peonies indoors so that I can enjoy their fragrance. Lovely post, Katherine!
Hi Jean, always a pleasure to see you leaving a comment. I cut them all and bring them in! The fragrance of lilacs on the table may be one of my favorites. Hugs!
