Autumn Hues Tablescape and Tour
Hello friends, I’m bringing autumn into our home and setting the scene for the upcoming respite from the blazing summer heat. Lord knows I’m ready for the cool down. I am grateful to be part of the Welcome Fall Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by the lovely Chloe of Celebrate and Decorate and it’s a pleasure to be among so many talented bloggers and tablescapers . If you are hopping over from the Zucchini Sisters, welcome.
I used a sheer curtain panel with a pattern that resembles leaves as my tablecloth. I use curtain sheers as backdrops for my photos all of the time too. New uses for old things!
My favorite autumn teapot is perched on a stack of American Atelier ( Bianca pattern) plates.
I think I bought it at Macy’s I’ve had it for quite a while.
I made a silk floral bouquet using wonderful autumn hues. Although these colors haven’t arrived on our trees yet. I just love using this mix of colors, don’t you? They just say welcome autumn. I added some dry berries, to peek out from among the silk flowers. I hope this year the weather will cooperate and we don’t skip autumn again.
I used the small canister from the American Atelier trio as my vase. New uses for old things my friends! Another New Uses for Old Things!
I tipped the amber glass from a large candle holder and filled it with autumn-hued flowers and leaves. I have them cascading onto the table. I love the way the sunlight and shadows play in this photo.
I used simple autumn-hued leaves and a painted acorn from my craft stash as a little reminder of the upcoming season change. I have had the copper leaf napkin rings for a very long time. I think I picked them up at Pier 1. I love the color. The napkins are from my Katherines Corner shop. I made some similar napkins in white, they are available at my shop, Keepsakes by Katherine
I used a charger as a base for my “centerpiece”.
Well, my friends, there you have it, my Autumn Hues Tablescape. My contribution to the wonderful Welcome Fall Tablescape Blog Hop.

Your pictures are beautiful! I love fall and part of the reason is for the colors. You have captured some amazing colors on your table 🙂
Katherine this is lovely and truly captures the essence of fall. Beautiful photos, love the light and the autumn glow!
So fun to join you in welcoming fall!
Katherine, your table set for autumn is lovely. It is a perfect way to welcome the new season. I admit, I’m over here crushing over your teapot. I’ve see one like this before on other blogs, and have wanted to find one. Perhaps someday! Is it marked?
Happy Autumn!
hi katherine! your table is beautiful and your photos look amazing too! Happy Tuesday my friend! laura
Katherine, the tea pot is stunning. I love how you tipped the glass over and filled it with florals. Great idea. Also the idea to use sheets as a tablecloth. I love using things in different ways. Your table is lovely.
Beautiful fall table, Katherine! Love your idea of using a curtain sheer for a tablecloth and also as a photo backdrop. Your flowers, amber vase on its side, and leaves and acorns on each place setting all look so pretty.
Katherine, how very clever and perfect using the curtain sheer in lieu of a tablecloth! And, oh how I adore that white, leaf covered teapot — simply divine!
So very lovely, Katherine! The amber dish turned on the side with the leaves tumbling out is a creative touch. I especially like the fall leaves with the little acorn on each place setting. The pop of color is a nice touch on your beautiful neutral dishes! Bravo! Thanks for joining us once again!
What a bright and inviting Fall tablescape. Your neutral tablecloth with a modern “leaf like” pattern is so refreshing. It adds such a more updated look to the traditional fall table. I fell in love with your lovely leafy teapot and beautiful white dinnerware. So stunning with the lace edged napkins and a beautiful contrast to the contemporary tablecloth. So lovely. And as always, it is a pleasure blog hopping with you.
Katie, the AA pattern is beautiful and so perfect for fall. The teapot is especially lovely. I have the AA “baroque” pattern that I have enjoyed for years. The curtain used as a tablecloth is just right for your pretty autumn hued tablescape. The light plays so beautifully across your table. It is a pleasure to blog hop with you sweet friend!
Using curtain sheers for your table (and backdrops) is brilliant Katherine! I love the texture and subtle pattern paired with your tableware. I have the same pumpkin teapot and it’s a favorite! Love the amber glass and light play on your table and leaves. As always it’s a treat to blog hop with you. Happy Fall ♥
Katherine, that teapot is darling! I love the natural hues you used. Happy Fall! Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
What a brilliant idea for a tablecloth! This is only one of the reasons I enjoy this blog hop so much. You all have such great ideas that look beautiful. I love all of the Autumn colors you have brought indoors and the leaves falling out of the vase onto the table. Your glasses are fun!
Katherine your table is so pretty. The Autumn teapot is lovely, along with the American Atelier dishes.I have been eye balling those for quite some time. You are so creative with the table covering. The sunlight is perfect. A pleasure to join you on this blog hop.
Love your dishes, I’m just starting Fall this week. And, the little accent plates are just the touch…letting you add the colors in the florals!
Katherine your place setting is gorgeous! Thanks for so much beautiful inspiration!
Your table is lovely Katherine! The tablecloth seems to be a continuing pattern of falling leaves! I love the fruits and leaves scattered about, your pretty white dishes and the copper leaf napkin rings, fall fabulous!

Katherine, that American Atelier is a beautiful pattern, especially in that teapot! It’s perfect for this autumn tablescape. My favorite thing is that amber glass tipped, with the trailing leaves and florals. That photo with the light play is gorgeous. I am all in with the New Uses for Old Things theory. Kudos!
Katherine, Your autumn pitcher is a showstopper! I love it as well as your American Atelier plates. You have lovely texture everywhere in your tablescape, I agree with how lovely the sunlight and shadows played in your photo. The shower curtain was a great tablecloth with the perfect pattern accent.
Happy Fall to you!
Happy Friday, Katie – your Fall tablescape is absolutely gorgeous, my friend. Thanks for sharing it here with us and now wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead xoxo <3
