Happy October

It’s here, it’s here…happy October everyone! I’m so excited. If there was a Happy October dance I’d be doing it. Bring on the pumpkin spice everything, the autumn colors, and big baggy sweaters. I’m so excited!

I changed our bedding yesterday anticipating the chilly nights ( we leave the window open). Hubby needs insulation from the cold but for me, I say bring it on baby!

Do you change your bedding from warm seasons to cool ones? Our bedroom is beige. Tan, neutral, nearly colorless. I occasionally change the color of the toss cushions and maybe add a throw. But, we haven’t changed our bedroom colors in so many years. New bedding yes, but always the same neutrals. I always want it to be restful. You won’t see bright colors in our bedroom.

I’ve been thinking about changing the colors, while still keeping it restful. We had a grey and pale coral colored bedroom about 18 years ago. I’ve been leaning towards a possible change to greys again. So, I did a little online window shopping. it’s free and you can dream as big as you want!

This Madison Park Signature Shades of Grey Jacquard Comforter Set is lovely. I like how they put the artwork on each side of the bed instead of directly over the bed. Do you have artwork above the bed?

I like the pattern in this Agate Bedding Collection, Created for Macy’s. I’d add a couple of pale coral toss cushions and maybe a throw.

This is nice, it’s actually an ad for the prints. But, I like the bedding too.

I found all of these at JC Penney, I would just add a pale coral toss cushion.
