A Quiet Celebration
Hello friends, every year since my blood cancer diagnosis on Jan 28, 2005, we have had a quiet celebration. No gifts, party hats or even cake. Just a quiet celebration acknowledging one more year of life with chronic blood cancer, and a very special thank you prayer for allowing me to continue to be here. I do my best to keep things happy and upbeat here on my little corner. So……this quiet celebration is a major HAPPY MOMENT to share with you!
I am celebrating 15 years of life through treatments since my diagnosis!! PV ( Polycythemia Vera) is one of a related group of chronic blood cancers known as Myeloproliferative Neoplasm. Cancer cells are also present in my bone marrow too. It can’t be cured, but there’s always hope for the future. It can be treated and managed. To learn more about my blood cancer please click HERE.
Thank you for celebrating with me. I hope you enjoy your time here, I thank you all for being bloggy friends and for subscribing, following, pinning and leaving amazing comments. I read them all!
I hope to see you back here on Thursday for the TFT blog hop ( link party)
This is the best news. You’re such a strong woman and an inspiration of strength!
Cindy
Thank you sweet friend for your kind words and compliment. xo
I have battled Multiple Myeloma for 20 years now. The picture of you getting your chemo above, we used to call the garage, because we were like cars in a garage in a line getting fixed! I used to wear hats. You look good! Praying does help! I was put on a prayer list and I know God heard my them! Praying for a speedy recovery and more!
Woohoo, that is so wonderful! I am quietly celebrating with you, friend.
Continued blessings – wishing you all good things.
What a testimony and a celebration is certainly in order. Congratulations and I pray there are many more celebrations in your future. Hugs.
And may God continue to bless you with many more years cancer free!
Katie,
What a wonderful and blessed celebration. I am so honored that you have shared it with us, even though I am late in responding. You are always so positive and upbeat and I know that you have had so many struggles, but you are so blessed and loved.
Hugs my friend,
Bev
