Groundhog Day and Other Celebrations in February
Hello friends, Happy Groundhog Day! If a groundhog emerges from its burrow today and sees its shadow, it will go back into its den, and winter will continue for six more weeks. If it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive early. I’m sharing some other fun days we can celebrate in February that might not be on your calendar.
- Feb 4 – Homemade Soup Day. This is one of my favorites!
- Feb 7 – Ballet Day. What I always wanted to do when I was young.
- Feb 9 – Pizza Day. One of hubby’s favorites.
- Feb 12 – Hug Day! I live by this so every day is hug day.
- Feb 18 – Drink Wine Day My daughter and her hubby will enjoy this one. (smile)
- Feb 20 – Cherry Pie Day. Lets bake!
- Feb 22 – Be Humble Day
- Feb 27 – Big Breakfast Day. Every day is big breakfast day for me.
I’m so glad I came across this blog post! Especially since I just learned it’s Hug Day and Big Breakfast Day is still on its way! February seems soooo long and these will be fun days to celebrate to help it go by a little faster.
