Tea Time Valentine’s Day Tablescape
Hello friends, it is my pleasure to share my Tea Time Valentine’s Day Tablescape in honor of Valentine’s Day and your sweet bloggy friendship. There’s a place for me and a place for you! My sweet friend Chloe, from Celebrate and Decorate has gathered a bunch of us together to create a fun Valentine’s Day Tablescape blog hop. The list of all of the wonderful tablescapes is at the bottom of this post. Please click on each of them and discover lovely tablescapes and ideas you might like to use for your Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day table.
I knew straight away I wasn’t going to create a romantic Valentine’s Day Table for this tablescape blog hop. So I got busy and created some fun things to celebrate our friendship.
It started with a spray ( assembled in a haphazard way) of pink carnations.
I don’t have any charges for Valentine’s day so I made two hearts
placemats” from felt.
An easy DIY felt heart garland was next. I made it out of the felt fabric scraps to “spill” onto the table. Perfect for our Tea Time Valentine’s Day Table.
The original teabag tag was replaced with this simple tea time friends tag. Tea Time on one side Friends on the other.
This vintage rose chintz sugar bowl is filled with chocolates for your sweet tooth.
That’s your teacup on the left ( smile).
I found the wooden heart at a local craft shop and the mannequin is from waaaaaaay back in time. Yes way back, when I was making things for a shabby chic art room. You can see it HERE and then the room makeover HERE.
The apple pie hearts are made using my apple pie recipe and a large heart cookie cutter. If you decide to make them, cut the apples extra small and put about 11/2 tablespoons into the center. Make sure to crimp the edges. They cook quickly on a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 12-15 minutes.
I frayed the ends of two fat quarters for the napkins, and the satin tablecloth is a remnant from a Keepsakes by Katherine custom order. Perfect for our Tea Time Valentine’s Day Tablescape.
Mismatched teacups are from what remains of my teacup collection. I have very few matching teacups (smile). Mine’s on the right, November is written inside ( my birthday month).
I hope you enjoyed sharing my virtual Tea Time Valentine’s Day Tablescape. Now, what will we chat about while having our tea?
Please enjoy the rest of the tour and don’t forget to pin! I’ll see you on Thursday for the TFT blog hop!

Katherine, I love all the ways that you have bought pink into your lovely tablescape. Feminine and romantic and pretty.
Wow, Katherine. You have left no stone un-turned, so many wonderful little details. Love the felt everything, especially the tea bag tags. How clever to create napkins with fat quarters! Thanks for that idea! My favorite is your beautiful tea cups. I can imagine sitting long and talking much at this gorgeous and inviting table.
Such a beautiful tablescape! Happy Valentine’s Day!
What a lovely table! The little pies are adorable and I love your china!
I love your mismatched tea cups for a tea party! Your apple hand pie look delicious! As always it’s a treat to hop with you. Hope your Valentine’s Day is extra sweet. ♥
This is so girly and I love it. Each piece on your table looks like they were made for each other. There’s so many pretty things to look at: lovely tea tag, floral teacups, frayed napkins, and that yummy heart shaped pie. You didn’t miss a thing. Such fun hopping with you and have a fun Valentine’s Day!
Katherine, I am sure we would not lack for conversation at your tea table. Your tea cups are so pretty and the valentine apple pie tart looks delicious on that sweet plate. The carnations go with your china and felt hearts so well and I love your pastel napkins.
Fun to blog hop again with you.
I’m a tea drinker as well and I love your tablescape! I love all the pink and your pretty tea cups. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day! Great hopping with you!

Very sweet table Katherine. I loved how you created your own felt hearts. Such pretty tea cups and your sweet friends tag. The heart shaped pies are a lovely addition. Pink carnations are so lovely and they last forever. Always a pleasure to blog hop with you.
Katherine, such a sweetheart of a tea party setting you created! Love the felt hearts and garland that, along with the vintage tableware, give the setting such a nostalgic feel of yesteryear. Envying the pretty pink carnations — just what I envisioned originally for my “in the pinks” table. Would love to sit at your table for a lovely cup of tea, tart and of course chocolate treats.
Katherine, your beautiful tea cups makes for a lovely Valentine’s Day tablescape. I love your sweet idea of adding a message of love by placing your own note over the tag of the original tea bag. So sweet and touching. The mini apple pie looks so delicious. You really can’t beat a homemade dessert like a pie to express how you love someone at Valentine’s Day. It is always made with a lot of love and from the heart. I adore your pink carnation bouquet. They seem to last forever. Their frayed edges make them look so delicate. Very pretty. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and it is always a pleasure to blog hop with you.
What a wonderful alternative to the typical Valentine’s concept! I love being your virtual guest at the table, and thank you for the thoughtfulness in my choice for tea cup, tag and hand pie! It’s a lovely setting to sit and talk and appreciate the gift that friendship gives. Happy February to you, and Happy Valentine’s!
Absolutely beautiful decor inspiration for Valentine’s Day, Katherine! I hope that you’re having a happy and healthy 2020! xo
