Mothers Wear an Invisible Super Hero Cape
Hello friends, Happy Mother’s day to all of the amazing people we call Mom! Being a Mom, Mother, Mum, Mommy, Mummy, or Grandma, Grandmother, Granny, Nana… more…makes you a super hero. You are not able to leap buildings in a single bound, but wearing that invisible cape takes Mothers to a super hero status the moment their child arrives. No matter how your child arrived, your cape is placed with that first glance, that moment when you know your heart is so full you can’t possibly imagine how loving someone so much can even be possible.
There is no limit to a mothers love, none! A mother’s love is unconditional.
Mothers come in all shapes and sizes. Many of the people we think of as Moms, may not be the “traditional” Mother figure at all.
Like all of us, each Mom is perfectly imperfect. There is no guide to Motherhood, no “do this if your child does this” list of accurate ways to respond.
Most of us just do the absolute best we can to bring our child up in a positive, nurturing, loving and healthy environment. No matter were you live, or how much money you have, mother’s will eat the burned toast and give their last penny to make sure their child has the best quality of life.
So wear your cape proudly today, and when that tray of burned toast and runny eggs arrives, know that every moment of their life, their heart is filled with love for you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
My mother was one of those super women!
I’m sure she was an amazing woman. I think she may have put a bit of a super hero in you too. Hugs
