Two Birthdays and a Wedding

Hello friends, I hope everyone had a positive weekend. It’s my wonderful husband’s birthday today. Happy Birthday sweetheart I love you ( he may read this post)! We have a lot going on this week.

My mother arrives tomorrow, we are so excited! She’s recovering well from her hip replacement surgery. Thank you all for your prayers and emails. We weren’t sure if she’d be able to travel. But she wants to be here for our oldest granddaughter’s wedding on Friday! Special accommodations have been provided for a comfortable flight via Delta airlines.

We have her room ready and hubby has installed a safety bar for the guest shower. Oh rats I created a video of the guest room and bath but it won’t load. Here are a couple of quick snaps. No staging at all. (smile).

We’ll be celebrating hubby’s birthday and my birthday ( it’s Nov 1st) with everyone after the new married couple return from their honeymoon. Tonight just the two of us will enjoy a wonderful meal and some birthday treats. On a side note- it’s getting increasingly difficult to get all of our grandchildren in the same place at the same time. Between work, school, sports and other events seeing everyone all at once will be wonderful. For those of you who might be visiting for the first time, thank you and welcome, we have 5 grandchildren ages 13-23.

I’ve had a couple of hiccups with my health lately. But nothing new to worry about, it just slows things down a bit (smile). Watch for my birthday giveaway post tomorrow.
