“And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.’ There was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly angels praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace “(Luke 2:8-14 ESV).
I hope you feel the love, joy and light of God today, and every day. xo

I am asking you, “Can you hear the angel or the angels?”
The shepherds heard the angel and they were afraid, the angel told the shepherds, “Fear not.” The angel told Joseph and Mary, “Fear not.” One minute the shepherds are tending to sheep in fields outside Bethlehem, the next minute an angel is telling them not to be afraid. Then out of nowhere the sky is filled with a “multitude of angels.” A multitude! An uncountable number of angels, all praising, singing and saying “Glory to God in the highest”
If we had been there, would we have seen the angels? Could the people in Bethlehem see the angels? Were they seen in Jerusalem, could the sound of their voices be heard in other places, or did the angels reveal themselves only to the shepherds, Mary and Joseph? I can’t fully answer these questions, but this much is certain: The angels were there, and the shepherds, Mary and Joseph heard them. (smile)
Now, I know some people will say prove it? But I say “you first” … I ask, “how can you prove that something is beautiful? “
Or why the combination of voices of a choir can create songs that are so touching your body reacts to them and your chest feels warm?
Can you prove by any method how the captivating fragrance of lilacs on a spring day makes you feel?
So, I ask you today to have faith, to know that God is true and to celebrate. Rejoice knowing the reason for our celebration today.
Go in Peace, knowing you are never alone and you are always loved.
