Psalm Sunday-Psalm 16-8

Hello friends, today’s Psalm Sunday is, 16:8 NIV. “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken”. This chapter and verse offer us powerful inner stability. Providing a foundational peace that remains even when circumstances around us are less than stable. It means that while the storms may rage, our hearts remain steadfast. We will have the strength we need because our trust is firmly planted in God.

We may bend, but we won’t break. We may stumble, but we won’t fall. Because we trust He will be there to protect, support, and empower us. He is our defender, our strength and our closest ally.

We must do our best to set the Lord before us. I do this by starting and ending every day in prayer. Prayer and reflection give me time to thank Him and ask for His guidance. I am learning to be patient. God does not work in our time. In God’s time” may not always be when I need it. So…. I rely on Him to allow His truths to influence my thoughts. They shape my perspectives. This is especially important when I am feeling sick and stuck at home.

When we intentionally make God the center of our lives, we recognize His unwavering presence beside us. We find a source of strength that transcends our own limitations. We discover an unshakable foundation that is capable of holding us firm no matter what comes our way.

The next time you feel your world shake, remember Psalm 16:8. “Set the Lord before you”. Acknowledge His powerful presence at your right hand. Stand firm in His love, and you will not be shaken.
