Labor Day 2025
Hello friends, it’s Labor Day here in the US. Can you believe it’s September 1st? Wow time flies like a bullet! Beyond being the unofficial end of summer and having awesome Labor Day Sales. I hope you’ll join me in acknowledging the American worker. The labor movement fought for the rights and protection of workers. Their efforts secured fair wages, reasonable hours, and safer conditions in the workplace.
The first Labor Day parade was held in New York City in 1882. Did you know the holiday was officially made a federal holiday in 1894? Ahh….yes, Knowledge is power. (smile)
