Happy Sunday
Hello sweet friends, happy Sunday! It has been quite a journey over the past two months, UGH… I am so happy to share that I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m relieved to report it’s definitely not a train! (smile)
The difficult part of the “shrinking” of Katherines Corner is nearly done. I’m currently working on getting all of your favorite recipe downloads moved over to Google Docs so they’re easily accessible. Someone suggested I make an e-book of the recipes. What do you think?
Losing more than nine years of my blog has been such an emotional roller coaster. I know I’ve shared that with you already, but sometimes it’s still hard to believe just how much is gone.
During this whole process I’ve gained so much insight. It has been a beautiful walk down memory lane, showing me what you all truly love to read and reminding me of how much I’ve grown since I first started this blogging adventure.

Before I deleted a single post, I sat down and read through your comments. They sincerely hugged my heart! I looked back at the days when we’d share 50 comments on a post, and Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) would have nearly 100! Seeing 300 or 400 links shared in a single week reminded me of the incredible blogging community we’ve built together around our shared love for recipes, life stories, faith, and of course, Izzy the blog dog.
So, what’s gone? I had to say goodbye to the largest files that were taking up so much space.
- Most of my photography and videos
- Crafts and tutorials ( not all if them)
- Blog posts from before 2021 (just a few exceptions)
- Older giveaways, guest posts, and product reviews
- Most blog series, Ruby for Women, Tid Bit Tuesday, and Cottage Living, etc.
The good news is that I’ve been able to merge and simplify my categories, making everything much easier to find. (smile)
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)
Thank you for being my ” online lifeline” and for sticking by me through all these technical hiccups and changes. I am so grateful for your bloggy friendship and can’t wait to share new things with you and make new memories.
Wishing you a beautiful day!
