  1. I ease into morning with a cappuccino followed by a fruit smoothie. Like for you, breakfast is bigger on the weekends.

  2. I am NOT a morning person. If I have to be up, just give me my coffee and don’t dare speak to me for a while. Breakfast foods are great… for dinner. LOL!

  3. Breakfast and brunch have always been my favorite meals, Katie. I would rather eat out on any special day in the morning rather than at night. Usually, I eat a very simple healthy breakfast. But my favorites include eggs, applewood bacon, hash browns, homemade biscuits…I need to stop thinking about this right now!
Thanks for your sweet comments on my post today!! You are such a great friend!

  4. ooooooh, everything looks so yummy in your pictures! I am not a morning person but I do eat breakfast. In fact, I’m sitting here eating cereal right now as I read your blog. I eat either cold cereal or oatmeal and that’s pretty much it (oh, and turkey sausage). I save the fancy breakfasts for evening as I don’t like a big filling breakfast in the morning.

  5. I am not a morning person. I am the one that is going to bed when most people are getting up, ha! Your pictures of breakfast ideas are so tempting, but as brunch or dinner for me.

  6. There’s nothing like a delicious, tasty, satisfying breakfast. YUMMY! And how sweet that your husband helps out, too. My hubby is in charge of breakfast each day and I always start the day off right. 🙂

  7. I have become a morning person. I always heard that as people get older, they tend to get up earlier, and that has happened to me. I now love getting up at anywhere from 6 to 8 am, brew a nice strong cup of coffee and sit at my computer and get some work done in the quiet with only the birds chirping.
Then about 8:30 or 9 I have my oatmeal with all the fixings: blueberries, blackberries, walnuts, almonds and banana.

  8. What a sweet fella to cook breakfast! Yum, it sounds good, too….tho I would put some local honey on my muffin. LOL I’m a morning person….love to get up and have my tea on my screen porch and listen to the day begin. 🙂

  9. Everything looks so good!! I am a morning person but usually just grab something simple during the week! Weekends are a bit more fancy since hubby is home. We’re eggs, bacon and hashbrown types but I’ll take a wonderful pancake anyday! Have a fabulous day……I’m going to go get something to eat! LOL!~~Angela

  10. Thanks for entering your reviews/give-aways at Show Off Tuesday! If you spread the word I surely would appreciate it. It’s fairly new, and I’d like the word to get around! Now look at this! WOW! I’m such a breakfast fiend! I could eat breakfast food morning, noon and night! Thanks for sharing! So what time do we eat!? lol I’ll bring the hot coffee or would you prefer a tall glass of cold milk? 🙂

  11. Good Morning Katherine,

I am also a morning person. I just love waking up early and hearing all the birds start to sing. I especially love it in the summer when it is warm. I so look forward to warm weather coming soon.

I usually eat something high in protein in the morning. Recently it is a chicken patty on toasted sprouted bread. I butter my toast and sandwich the patty in between then cut it into little wedges. It keeps me going for most of the morning.

I love french toast but usually I will have that at night for supper because of the carbs. It is fun having breakfast for supper.

    Have a great day!

  12. All looks delicious and I have been eating Irish Soda Bread my Mother-in-Law made for St. Paddy’s Day the last week or so. So yummy and we had so much of it. Usually though I eat oatmeal and as a treat on sundays sometimes I make pancakes. Good morning by the way and must admit I am not really a morning person though and have had to become one with two little kids!!

  13. I am a morning person but I never eat breakfast, although nutritionists say I should. I am never hungry in the morning and rarely hungry at lunch time. I find that I am most hungry at night which is the wrong time to eat, especially if it’s snacks and junk food. I indulge in pretzels and raw, unsalted peanuts in the evening which explains why I’m not hungry in the morning. Have a wonderful Tuesday, dear friend Katie!

Love each other as God loves you xo
