Hi there! I’m Megin of VMG206 and I’m so happy to be here guest posting with Katherine today. Just a little about me ~ VMG206 is place where I share my love of Paper Crafting, DIY’ing and Blogging. I love to use Paper, Digital Media and Thrift Store Finds to create beautiful things. And I love a good Tutorial! Today I’m sharing some fun Back to School Book Plate printable. These will be great for putting inside schoolbooks, notebooks, etc. I thought a chalkboard feel would be nice, so I did them with a black background and used white text (chalk like). I’ve included a few options for you to use. Here they are ~ Option 1 ~
Option 2~
You can download Option 1 and Option 2 here. Let’s get started!
These are super easy to use! I just printed the sheet and cut them out with scissors.
Here’s the example using a cutting tool. I have a Big Shot (R) and lots of framelits. This it the one I chose ~
Note: if you have a Big Shot (R) or other die cutting machine, you can use the sheets in Option 2 for different shapes and sizes. Also, using little post-its (R) helps hold the framelit in place. Once I had them cut out, I used craft glue to adhere them inside the book. After it dried (about 45 minutes), I used a white gel pen to write the name. Here is is inside the book ~
All done! This would be a quick and easy craft to do with your kids for their school books. You can also use these Book Plates for their personal books. I hope you enjoy the printables today. I’d love for you to visit me over at VMG206. Recently I’ve shared How to Get 500 Pinterest Followers in 30 Days; Back to School Notebook and Drop Cloth Dish Towels.
