Dollar Tree Christmas Decor
Dollar Tree Christmas Decor
I love the idea of affordable holiday decorating and I love a challenge too.Two lovely boggy friends, Debbie from Debbie Doos and Shannon from Fox Hollow Cottage are having a party! An all things dollar tree Christmas party! It starts today. They encourage you to go to your local dollar store ( or 99 cent ) and gather together items to decorate your home for Christmas. So I headed over to the dollar tree shop to scan the aisles. I saw some pretty iridescent gift bag filler and then the light bulb above my head illuminated the entire store…okay a little exaggerating…but I had an idea and I began my quest to find all things shiny and bright.
Thoughts of a romantic Christmas toast shared with my wonderful husband inspired me to create this little vignette. Soon the glasses will be filled with something sparkly too.
Here are the things I picked up at the dollar tree store ( cost for everything $14) wine glasses gift bag filler mini table runner ornaments serving tray candles candle holders artificial flowers
I covered a small table with the table runner and placed the tray on it and put a layer of gift bag filler on to the tray.
I placed my two wine glasses on the tray and put an ornament inside each glass.
piece by piece I added a little bit of Christmas magic and an ornament or two and
soon I was happy with my little dollar store vignette 🙂
a Christmas snow covered setting that just needed candles and it was complete
the joy of creating something from items found at the dollar store really made me smile.
Of course I couldn’t do any of this fun decorating without the watchful eye of my sweet decorating supervisor, Izzy 🙂
I am happy to share that the new Ruby For Women Magazine is available. click HERE to read

How fun! We buy window clings from the dollar store. The kids love to put them up for each season/holiday.
It looks so lovely. You can find treasurers at the Dollar Stores.
The snowy theme is a favorite of mine this year! Your centerpiece is beautiful. Christmas is always better with more glitter!
