Give Thanks Tablescape Blog Tour
Hello sweet bloggy friends, it’s time for the Give Thanks Tablescape Blog Tour and I can’t wait to see everyone’s tables. Please click on each link in the list so you won’t miss anyone’s hard work. Please pin from their blog too. I love doing fun things like this and YOU are the reason I keep doing it. It is a pleasure to be among this lovely and talented group of bloggers and to also host the tablescape of a sweet instagram friend, Marie. You may know her as Venice Beach QT Pie. She’s lovely. Be sure and subscribe to her instagram HERE, while you are visiting instagram I hope you will also subscribe to mine HERE as well. If you missed the previous tablescape blog tour I invite you to click HERE.
Many of you know that I often say, “I am missing the tablescaping gene.”
I am definitely a work in progress.
I created a simple silver and gold table for hubby and I. Minimalist with a feeling of intimacy. I tried several times to capture the candles glow.
Enjoy this lovely give thanks tablescape blog tour friends.

The sun was playing keep away with me when I was taking photo’s so you will see a bit of a difference in them.
I didn’t buy anything for this tablescape, oh wait that’s a fib, I bought the carnations at the local Walmart.
Everything else is from our home.
A friend gave me the prickly ring, it’s a wreath but I thought it would work well with something in the center.
After a few finger pricks the be thankful pumpkin was a perfect fit.
I hope the pears add a pop of unexpected color .
The glasses embossed with the letter K were a gift from a lovely friend last year.
I made the napkins and I hope to have them available in the shop soon.
The little gold Nicole Miller bowls are for sale in my shop. Great for a multitude of things, nice trinket or ring bowl too.
I found the gold glitter pumpkins in the clearance bin of our local market several years ago.
Be Thankful, is easy for me, I am thankful for so many blessings and I count you among them.
It is my pleasure to host Marie’s tablescape. Imagine my surprise last night when I found out she used purple!
You know I’ve used purple ( my fav color) a lot for my autumn photos so that was a fun surprise.
I think her beautiful table looks like it came straight out of a magazine. She has the tablescape gene for certain!
Marie my blog is your blog,
———————————————————————————
I would like to begin by expressing my thankfulness to Katherine for giving me the opportunity to share my Thanksgiving table with all of you. Katherine, you are a generous light of talent and inspiration to us all.
I love Thanksgiving! I love everything about it: the food, the harvest decor, the gathering of loved ones around the table coming together with a spirit of gratitude!
And of course, the table. I have a genuine passion for styling tablescapes, cooking and baking, and entertaining my family and friends! Thanksgiving is truly all of that wrapped into one for me.
Traditions are there for a reason, and I try to stay faithful to the autumnal colors and harvest decor. But I also like to change things up a little every year, to give my guests a sense of surprise and for the joy of creating something new. I present to you this year’s Thanksgiving that I believe stays true to the beautiful autumnal color palette of fall that we are all accustomed to, with added jewel tones of purple, fuchsia, magenta, and orange, and gold!
Flowers are the crowing touch of all celebrations, I have as much an affinity for arranging floral centerpieces as I have for styling tables. I adore flowers of all kind, they make me happy, so I give them my due attention. I used my brass candelabra to create this centerpiece of magenta peonies, two varying shades of orange roses, orange lilies, purple carnations and purple lisianthus, and purple clover and eucalyptus. It offers a festive welcome at the table for my guests to sit at. I also added magenta roses from my garden for each individual place-setting, for the guests to enjoy at eye level while they are enjoying dinner.
I try to put thought into the details, such as my homemade Maple Leaf sugar cookies with my guests’ names piped on them. They serve as place-cards at each placesetting, as well as favors that my guests get to take home for an evening snack and a little something to remember the event by…memories that I hope will linger for a long time after the turkey has been eaten and the last candle has been blown out!
I hope you will enjoy and feel inspired by my Thanksgiving table. I very much look forward to all of your the beautiful tables and creations!
Happy Thanksgiving!
With Love,
Marie
Thank you and God Bless.
Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving.

Katherine and Marie ~ lovely tables!!!
I went crazy pinning and yes, I will be back on Friday! 🙂 I was thinking that Marie’s purple plaid tablesetting looks so beautiful that, seriously, you could use it as a wedding head table idea. Pinned one photo to my Wedding Ideas board as it would be lovely for a winter wedding with a quick change of the turkey plate. I was married 30 years ago in October and this would be lovely all fall or winter! Lovely ideas, Ladies!!! Happily coming around and scheduling photos for this week via Tailwind {we have 3G sllllloooowwww internet, so Tailwind and setting exact date/time works great!} and mostly today! <3
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for hosting Katherine,
